A sweet online bible

I've already mentioned one of these, but the same person(s) have created a second great site.

The first is the Greek & Hebrew Reader's Bible. This is the replacement to the late great zhubert.com. This is almost like Accordance on the web, simply hover over a word for its parsing. Notes on the text are also given. It is focused on reading (as per its name) so word searches or string searches are not available.

The second is the BibleWebApp. A great online interlinear. Hover over a word in the Greek or Hebrew to see its corresponding word in the English. A great resource when you are stuck on a translation.

I don't usually do this on the deinde blog, but I've been given the brand new, still-in-the-wrapper, New Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible on CD-ROM. This retails for $400 on Abingdon's site, and seems to be available for $350 on Amazon.com.

I'll be a mac user until the day I die, and this CD-ROM only works on PC, thus I am selling it. I figured $275 is a decent asking price. Any takers? If so, email me danzac---at--gmail.com.

My Multimedia Flashcards land on the iPhone....and more

My multimedia flashcard expansion packs continue to be helpful to students out there, and I'm really happy to announce that flashcards with audio are now available for iPhone and iPod Touch. To my knowledge these are the only iPhone flashcard sets available with audio.

Furthermore, I've also made the desktop version of my flashcard sets (audio AND image/mnemonics) available for Mental Case on the Mac.

In case you don't know, my flashcard sets are keyed to Mounce's grammar, Croy's grammar, Black's grammar, and Steven's grammar.
